Mini Trip to Morocco – (Miraj Hammam Spa)

We all know Toronto is the busiest city. We all get tired after working five days and our body/mind needs some change. I understand it’s very hard to travel every month especially in Toronto unless you are a millionaire. But not a problem, I found Mini Morocco in Toronto Downtown.

Miraj Hammam Spa by Cudalie Paris at Shanghai-La Hotel is very luxurious. Step off the elevator on the fifth floor of the hotel and you feel like you are in Morocco. The environment, furniture, music and everything you find is Moroccon style. If you want to enjoy sometime in pool, either you could pay $25 to use Hotel pool or you have to spend at least $200 at spa to get free access to pool.

Doesn’t matter if you are celebrating your birthday, anniversary or you need some break from your everyday life; Miraj Hammam Spa is best for spa escape to go with girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband. All you have to carry is a bathing suit. Other than that robe, slippers, toiletries, and hair dryer they provide you over there. They serve you black tea and some healthy snacks as well.

My recent visit was on my boyfriend’s birthday. We went for 60 minutes Deep Tissue Massage. Registered massage therapist Victoria and Amanda were absolutely wonderful. They have magic in their hands. If you have insurance coverage they also provide you re receipt to submit claim.

Overall, it was best Spa experience.  In middle of the city, you feel like you are in different world.
